Stop the screen recording and wait until the file is complete. Prints path, duration, size, resolution and fps
After an automatic stop (max duration) it prints that recording once. MCP returns bytes up to 16 MiB, or a 1-day download link up to 100 MB, not a Mac path. Failed delivery keeps the recording for retry while its lease is active. Files above 100 MB cannot be delivered remotely: run this command locally on the Mac to keep the file. The local CLI keeps its output file, including a remote recording collected locally.
  • no-recording: nothing is recording and no finished recording is waiting.
  • recording-failed: the writer failed (for example a full disk); the file is incomplete or missing.
